The hand-painted miniature of Zeus at the centre of this piece is among the most technically demanding subjects in fine watch retouching. Every brushstroke of the enamel work had to remain visible — the depth of the painting preserved, not flattened by light. Controlling the sapphire crystal dome above it required precise work on transparency without losing the scene beneath. 
The rose gold case set with diamond baguettes presented its own challenge — each stone demanding individual treatment to maintain brilliance without competing with the centrepiece. The final images were delivered to campaign standard, ready for press and digital placements across Jacob & Co's global communications.
