The Epic X Chrono collection spans multiple models and colourways — each combining polished steel, rubber, and diamond baguettes in a single design. These are three materials with entirely different light behaviours. Steel reflects hard and directional. Rubber absorbs. Diamonds scatter. Retouching them together, in the same image, to the same standard, is a precise balancing act. The project required establishing a retouching framework that could be applied consistently across the full collection — so that each model, regardless of colourway, reads as part of the same family. Series matching at this level of detail is where the long-term value of specialist retouching becomes most visible.
