A ruby and diamond bracelet is one of the most visually striking combinations in fine jewellery — and one of the most technically demanding to retouch. The warmth and depth of each ruby had to be preserved exactly: vivid without oversaturation, transparent without losing density. A ruby that loses its warmth becomes a stone. A ruby with too much stops reading as real.
The baguette diamonds surrounding the rubies were treated to deliver crisp, controlled brilliance — cool and precise against the warmth of the red stones. Against a clean white background, there is nowhere to hide: every facet, every transition between stone and metal, every reflection is visible. The final images deliver the contrast the piece was designed to create.
